Our History
After sixteen years at Foster Wheeler Energy Corporation, Anthony Gaeta seized the opportunity to leverage both his experience and expertise by creating AmerTech. His business design included a fresh approach of client collaboration by embracing mutual objectives in both growth and innovation. That year was 1979 and (American Techincal Sales , Inc. ) AmerTech was a stand-alone operation in greater New York. AmerTech was founded around supplying solutions within the boiler, turbine and auxiliary plant equipment. That is still prevalent today but since 1979 there has been a market shift from large coal fired plants to combined cycle and industrial facilities. Anthony’s influence is still pervasive throughout the organization within our philosophy of “Total Commitment to our Customers”. Tony retired in 2015. Today the company is owned by Mark Gaeta who as been with the company since 1991. We are multi-man multi-state representative firm focused on aftermarket and capital solutions. AmerTech covers thirteen states with offices and staff in New Jersey, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Williamsburg, Blacksburg and Hartford.
Representation by AmerTech means immediate and direct access to plant level decision makers. These individuals have direct needs at their facilities and AmerTech has the solutions for their needs on a daily basis.

AmerTech, Inc. strives to be the prominent manufacturers sales representative firm in the territories that we serve. We want to make our services so distinct, so valuable to our customers and principals, so important to their successes that our services become their only real choice.
Client Base
AmerTech, Inc. has a territory that is rich in client diversification. Our client base is primarily focused on the Power Industry, but includes industrial markets such as: Pulp and Paper, Steel, Refinery, Pharmaceutical, and Petrochemical to name a few. We are also in regular communication with OEM’s, EPC Contractors, Developers, Utilities, Waste to Energy Plants, Owner Engineering Firm who are either helping support existing facilities or building new ones.
